Meet our Team

Lynette Beer

Director & Founder

Lynette developed her well-known Four Colour Temperament Model© and implemented it at the international group of companies where she was one of four directors at the time. The results were simply astounding and earned her an award for the Most Innovative and Successful Business Concept in 2007.

However, the calling to start her own business pulled her away from her two-decade plus cushy corporate existence to start the adventure of Seeds of Inspiration. Now she is one of South Africa’s most inspirational motivational speakers on personal development and corporate growth.

She has an exceptional gift to sow the seeds for successful business ideas and she also has all the experience, skills and know-how to turn those entrepreneurial dreams into real-life success stories. She is guided by her personal vocation which includes creating opportunities for others who share in her vision and buy into her business model.

It has taken decades to grow Seeds of Inspiration into the multi-faceted “empire of hope” it is today. Lynette is the embodiment of God’s grace and His blessings on work that is done in His honour and she leads by example as she works and lives with a spirit of excellence.

Lynette is a firm believer in harnessing the skills, experience and knowledge of others – with all the strengths of the four different temperaments represented. She manages Lynette Beer Media with six associated companies with wisdom garnered from her faith, exceptional business acumen and with (of course) healthy doses of temperament knowledge, sprinkled with generous amounts of humour.

Every team needs a leader, a visionary dreamer, someone to turn those dreams into achievable goals, a motivator, and a mentor. How blessed is the team of Lynette Beer Media to have all these functions performed by one magnificent person: Lynette!

René Snyman

Managing Director

René is an accomplished business leader with over 26 years of experience working in a prominent corporate company. During this time, she held various leadership roles, driving strategic growth initiatives, optimising operational efficiency, and fostering innovation.

With a deep understanding of the corporate landscape, René has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, leading cross-functional teams and spearheading projects that contributed to the company’s long-term success.

With the experience from her 16 years as Managing Director for a wholly owned subsidiary of a global company responsible for Sub-Saharan Africa, René brings a wealth of knowledge, a passion for leadership, and a vision for continued growth and success.

René joined the Lynette Beer Media team in August 2023 to help Lynette to formulate a strategy which could help her to reach her dream to help people to reach their full potential on different platforms. She is, in short, the Blue guiding light for Yellow Lynette!

With the help of various team players and associates, in a very short time, she managed to create an approach that fosters collaboration, maximizes resources and strengthens the overall value for all 5 companies that form part of Lynette Beer Media. The biggest objective she managed to put in place was to create a central financial structure that allows the group to pull resources for investments and expansion.

René is currently the Managing Director of Lynette Beer Media, working closely with Lynette (Founder and CEO) and Herman Meintjies (Operational Manager) to manage the new platform and to implement the strategies. She believes by focusing on a clear plan, leveraging every resource, and staying resilient in the face of obstacles, Lynette’s dreams become not just possibilities, but inevitable realities.

Hardus is a problem-solver, big thinker, doer and enabler of people. The epitome of the old adage: “The harder you work, the luckier you get,” Hardus was constantly featured among the top five sales executives at the international group of companies where he worked before he joined Lynette Beer and team.

Today, his Business Management Qualification, coupled with a decade plus of hands-on experience, serves him well as Operational Manager of Seeds of Inspiration where he leverages his talents to ensure seamless and pleasurable dealings with the company.

Most importantly, he establishes a solid support structure and platform that enables Lynette and the rest of the team to focus on what they do best. In short, Hardus loves people and to empower them – and it shows.

The core principle by which he lives, breathes and works daily, is to aim to ensure that every single one of his words and actions depart from integrity. He lives in Pretoria and is married to Shinequa, who is qualified and experienced in Multimedia and works on multiple projects in graphic design, photography and social media, as she shares Hardus’ talent for multi-tasking.

Alicia Keyser

Seedlings

Alicia is a corporate lady from Pretoria with 25-year experience in Treasury and Project Finance environment. She’s been actively involved in charity work to uplift people in need for literally decades.

Through her involvement with Christmas Wish List projects, her mission has always been to make dreams come true. She wants people – and especially children – who feel hopeless to know that they are not forgotten, but that God cares and regardless of their circumstances, the love of God never fails.

Over the years of seeing the self-destructive cycle in poverty-stricken communities, her passion for working with children evolved. Being a happily married mother herself and observing a new generation developing, her focus has intensified towards the development of children’s coping skills.

These wise words of Christine Caine resonate with her heart: “When our identity is secure in Christ, we can live free from the approval of others.” There is no social hierarchy in God’s eyes and children of all walks of life need Christ.

By establishing a strong and undeniable identity in Christ, we can unshackle children from peer pressure and the desperation which drives them to devastating decisions. Her deepest wish to capacitate youngsters to make good decisions has led her to Seedlings, which creates a platform to make a difference.

Seedlings undoubtedly needs arms and hands to make an impact and she hopes that people sharing the same passion, will get involved in whatever small or big way to break the chains of poverty, lawlessness, misery and moments of weakness where good people make bad decisions.

She strongly believes that if we can help youngsters to get to age 25 without having regrets, they have a good chance at a solid adult life and being contributing members of society who are capable of nurturing healthy relationships in order to raise well-grounded future generations.

Carolina Botha

Teach2Reach

Prof Carolina Botha has been a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Education of the North-West University in Potchefstroom since 2014. An academic background in psychology, theology and education prepared her for a twelve-year career as a teacher and academic.

She is passionate about preparing teachers for the dynamic landscape of education in South Africa. In 2017 she was honoured with the annual institutional award for teaching excellence and she also represented her university at the national level for this award.

In 2023 she won the institutional award for best community service project. She feels very strongly about the role of mentoring for both students and colleagues and leads several projects in this regard.

Her research focuses on the expectations and experiences of novice teachers about the emotional realities of their chosen profession. The daily challenges teachers experience, are at times so overwhelming that they lose their passion and burn out. It is Prof Botha’s heart’s desire to provide educators with the practical advice to re-align their reality with their vocation.

Prof Botha has already had more than 25 publications in accredited journals, books and textbooks and has guided several Master’s and Doctorate students. She co-authored Die Ritme van jou Roeping with Lynette Beer to incorporate the different temperaments of both teachers and learners.

Kaelyn Keyser

Seedlings

Kaelyn is the youngest member of the team and is the daughter of Alicia and David, and the godchild of Lynette. She grew up surrounded by various community upliftment programmes undertaken by her mother in support of charity initiatives.

Kaelyn often overheard discussions on how to make a positive impact on children and her input is especially valuable, being a teenager herself.  Although sport is her passion, this teenager has a big heart for others.

Seedlings was born out of a shared passion for God’s Word and compassion for people. Kaelyn started her own projects involving her sport mates to make a difference. Having a Blue temperament, her creativity, goal-orientation and involvement is an asset and a blessing to the Seedlings team.

Urma Coetzer

Seedlings

Urma became involved with Seedlings from the very beginning since its inception. She is married to Willie. They have been together for 15 years and their bustling combined family consists of 5 children, 3 children-in-law and 10 grandchildren. Yet, Urma’s loving heart still has space left for children of the four-legged kind and her dogs are pampered and adored.

Since retiring they moved from Gauteng to the winelands and this brings them much joy. She does not believe in sitting still and her adventurous soul loves to travel – something she and Willie now get to do to their hearts’ content. They enjoy meeting new people and learning more about different cultures.

One of Urma’s most beloved quotes comes from the pen of Oscar Wilde: “The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.” She guides her passion to help families – and especially children – in need by these words.

She is involved with the work done by the Andrew Murray Children’s Home in Wellington as well as school projects in the area. The assistance provided is focused on feeding schemes, gifting of groceries and sanitary products and arranging special trips and outings.

It is her dream to share her joy and blessings with others through the work with Seedlings. Urma believes that no matter which temperament a person has, it is our calling to show God to people in the way we care for them – mind, body and soul.

Myndert Bloem

Pastoral Counsellor – Individuals, families, schools

Myndert studied psychology in Potchefstroom at North-West University (as it is now known) and has a private practice as pastoral counsellor in Pretoria. After attending one of Lynette Beer’s presentations he became hooked on the Four Colour Temperament Model!

His temperament is Yellow/Red and he is married to Marinda, who is Green/Blue. In essence they are almost each other’s opposite and this makes for a very challenging partnership. However, they make it work and have done so for more than 30 years because they understand and accept each other’s temperament.

Their son is Green/Yellow and their daughter is a Blue/Red princess … In the Bloem household the bright Yellow Myndert therefore can easily feel misunderstood, but since combining his knowledge of the Four Colour Temperament Model with his own skill set, peace and harmony reign supreme in this happy family.

After his studies Myndert felt that the field of psychology does not truly answer all of life’s questions. He only found his true answer when at the age of 39 he renewed his Christian faith with a very specific focus on relationships.

He left his job as a broker and followed his true vocation: evangelism and counselling. He does counselling literally every day and this provides him with a sense of fulfilment as he knows that this is his true calling.

Counselling also makes him excited about life as he sees how people become connected with God and consequently heal their other relationships. He uses Lynette Beer’s insights into temperaments to speak into each person’s personality and to provide advice and help accordingly.

Alongside his private practice for individuals and families, he is involved at a school in Meyerton for two days per week as per their request. Yet, he still finds time to share his unique brand of therapy with Lynette Beer Media.

Myndert also has a passion for missionary work and lived in Madagascar for a while to pursue this calling full-time. He is still committed to Madagascar and is the driving force behind bringing the joy of the Four Colour Temperament Model to our neighbours in this country.

She has almost two decades of experience as an educator and has been actively involved in the world of performing arts and public speaking for more than two decades.
